JOB TITLE: Office Manager (Temporary)

BRANCH:  Calgary, AB

REPORTING TO: HR Director

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:

-          Administrative duties such as supply management, correspondence, machine vendor maintenance, new employee phone and system set up, boardroom scheduling and maintenance, and ordering luncheons

-          Overseeing office maintenance

-          Providing support to team members as required (booking venues, coordinating travel, creating purchase orders, and other administrative duties)

-          Maintaining the boardrooms and kitchen (cleanliness and supplies)

-          Providing support on major projects and initiatives in the office

-          Providing support to the executive team

-          Managing a presentable reception area

-          Answering and directing calls in a professional manner

-          Greeting and welcoming visitors and clients

-          Clerical duties such as faxing, photocopying, mail, couriers, creating labels

-          Other duties as assigned; this is a dynamic role in our organization

 

Job Requirements and Qualifications Include:

-          Minimum 3 years of administrative experience, preferably with increasing responsibility in a professional services environment

-          Advance proficiency with software applications like Microsoft Office products and Adobe

-          Experience with project work

-          Professional appearance and attitude

-          Positive attitude towards customer service

-          Strong communication skills and attention to detail

-          Punctual and reliable

-          Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills to meet deadlines and juggle competing priorities

-          Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
